Leader Shift Luncheon - Thursday, June 18th
One of the "cultural norms" a relational leader wants to establish in his or her place of work is being good at celebrating with those who are celebrating, and offering compassion and support to those who are experience hard times.
In some ways, this seems obvious. We even go so far as to think that we're already perfect at doing that for our employees. But the truth is we can really mess this up in practice. We want to unpack the exact skills of how to be good at celebrating with others, and also knowing what to say to someone when they are hurting or experiencing challenges.
Having these kind of emotional skills and culture amongst your team creates:
- more trust in each other - "you genuinely care about me."
- A more "present" version of ourselves to focus on each other and work.
- Less distracted by the ups and downs of life because we are not going through our experiences alone.
- Serving customers in a way that engages them at the point of their emotions, which can create more longevity and loyalty.
We're excited to see you on June 18th to keep going deeper on our Leader Shift journey!
